Hop into a world of love and cuteness with I Love My Bunny, a fun and delightful children's book written and created by Aftab Hafeez and Elaine Lai, illustrated with the help of AI.

Kids and adults alike will love reading about Bunny #1 and Bunny #2's unique and quirky hobbies—from the mundane to the spiritual, and their strong loving bond. With a message of acceptance and diversity, I Love My Bunny pushes against various forms of ableism, inspiring both kids and adults to embrace their weirdness, and to love each other for who they are. With vibrant, colorful illustrations and easy-to-read text, this book is perfect for young children just learning to read, and also for adults who want to reconnect with their childhood selves.

About the Authors

Aftab Hafeez is a film composer, music producer, and Ex-Googler on the autism spectrum based in Palo Alto, California. A lifelong artist, he recently has made a foray into digital art, specifically leveraging artificial intelligence to tell visual stories. His creative work is fueled by a desire to increase compassionate representations of neurodiversity, as seen in his debut book for children co-authored by Elaine Lai, titled I Love My Bunny.

Elaine Lai (she/they) is a PhD candidate in Religious Studies at Stanford University by day, where she studies how Buddhist literature plays with time. By night, Elaine is an aspiring filmmaker and TV writer whose work wrestles most with the question of how marginalized bodies can be free and experience joy while living within constraints of a deeply violent and wounded society.
