First part in a series where we'll listen to a currently-charting Pop/Electronic/Rap track for these patterns.
Composer and music producer Jin Qin and I collaborated on this energetic track, LUX. Give it a listen here on Spotify:
Currently making the soundtrack to an animation called "Madina Papel".
Composed, mixed, and mastered by Aftab Hafeez.
With I Don't Want to Sleep Alone making its rounds in festivals, I'm releasing the soundtrack album via all major streaming services soon.
Some of it's recent accolades:
Winner: London Independent Film Awards 2018, LA Shorts Awards 2018, Global Film Festival Awards 2018
Official Selection: Los Angeles Film Awards 2018, European Cinematography Awards 2018
This was a special film since I originally got involved as an actor, then was brought on to score the music. This included performing the violin, recreating all of the sound, and polishing the final mix. A big thank you to all involved in its creation and support, and special gratitude towards director ZhanLiang Amos Li and editor Cynthia Chen.
